I have over 32 years of experience in the computer industry with over twenty years spent on commercial software design, coding and deployment using DOS, UNIX, LINUX and WINDOWS platforms.

 My current focus is on Windows C#.Net, Web 2.0 ASP.NET and iOS projects but I can assist with many types of software development projects from small to large.  I have done native iOS development on a Mac OS X platform using MonoTouch.  I created Anything Binary in 2008 as a portal to exhibit and share my work and interests.  More background information is available on my Linked-In page.

My Interests

I am an avid amateur astronomer and digital photographer.  I am a member of the Mississauga Centre of the RASC (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) and the Oakville Camera Club.  I use Olympus digital SLR and CSC cameras and examples of my images are in the Portfolio.  I enjoy experimenting with HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography which merges multiple exposure and tone mapping to bring out all of the details that a single exposure cannot capture.  The photo below is a combination of 5 exposures ranging from -2EV to +2EV. Click on the image to open a gallery of HDR interior and exterior photos that I took when selling our house in 2012. It sold in four days for the full asking price. I really believe that having this gallery linked from the MLS listing was a key factor to generate interest.
