Q: What do you charge for your services?
A: My hourly rate ranges between $50.00 and $100.00 CDN depending on project complexity and skill level, however I am willing to discuss a fixed price or royalties based contract for longer term projects.  Projects can include writing technical documentation; Excel VBA macros, designing web sites, coding web services, custom Windows applications and iPhone apps.

Q: Do you have any Certifications?
A: Yes, I am a certified Microsoft Navision v3.60 Solutions Developer although I prefer building software for Windows platforms using C#.NET, JavaScript, CSS, XML, ASP.NET and AJAX.  I have recently joined the Apple developer program and am doing iPhone development using Mobile Safari and Objective-C.

Q: What development tools do you use?
A: I build most of my projects  using Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2005, Expression Studio 2, Expression Web 3,  UltraEdit32, Photoshop CS3 and a few other utilities on a Vista PC. I am experimenting with Silverlight 2.0, Ubuntu and Xandros Linux.  For iPhone development I use Xcode, Interface Builder and Dashcode on an Intel based Mac Mini.
