Q: Do you do contract software development?
A: Yes,  I am willing to discuss a fixed price or hourly rate based contract.  Projects can include writing technical documentation; taking or editing photos, creating Excel VBA macros, designing web sites, coding web services, custom Windows applications or iPhone/iPad apps, etc.

Q: Do you have any certifications?
A: Yes, I am a certified Microsoft Navision v3.60 Solutions Developer although I prefer building software for Windows platforms using C#.NET, JavaScript, CSS, XML, ASP.NET and AJAX.  I joined the Apple iOS developer program and am doing iPhone development using Mobile Safari, MonoTouch and Objective-C.

Q: What development tools do you use?
A: I use Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, MonoDevelop, Xcode, Expression Studio, UltraEdit32, Photoshop CS5 and many other utilities   For iPhone development I prefer MonoTouch or Dashcode. Documentation tools include Microsoft Office 2010 for both Mac and Windows.  I also use Hype to build Html5 animations on my Macbook Pro.

Q: What camera equipment do you use?
A: I use Olympus four thirds and micro four thirds cameras and lenses. I have E-1, E-30, EPL-1 and OM-D EM-5 bodies as well as a variety of Zuiko lenses from super wide to telephoto. I also use the compact CSC cameras on my telescopes for astrophotography or super telephoto work.
